A small estate on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, east of Naples.Ā Wines are elegant and expressive showcasing the unique grapes they grow together with the climate and volcanic soils contributing to the taste of the wine.Ā The Caprettone grape is used for the famous Lacrima Christi wine, and after fermentation in steel tanks the wine is kept on its lees (residue of the vine pressings) for 9 months before bottling. Aromas of green apple, jasmin, orange peel are well balanced with the acidity threading through to a juicy finish.Ā
